Ingot — Privacy Policy

Ingot does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-up and no server. Everything you log stays on your phone.

What the app stores, and where

When you use Ingot you may enter:

• workout sets — exercise, weight, reps and the time you logged them
• routines you create
• your bodyweight, unit preference (kg/lb) and weekly workout target
• training maxes for the percentage-based Program blocks
• whether reminders are switched on

All of this is written to your device's local app storage. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, and we operate no server that could receive it.

Network use

Ingot makes no network requests of its own. It contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service and no cloud sync.

Two exceptions are worth naming plainly:

• Purchases. If you subscribe, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing. Google receives and processes the payment; the app never sees your card or payment details. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by Google's own privacy policy. Ingot stores only, on your device, whether a subscription is active and which plan it is.
• Android system permission. Because the app includes Google Play Billing, the Android build system adds the standard INTERNET permission to the released app. Ingot does not use it to send your training data anywhere.

Data you choose to share

Ingot has two features that copy information to your device's clipboard, and both run only when you tap them:

• Export training log (CSV) in Settings copies your full log to the clipboard so you can paste it wherever you want.
• Share PR on the Progress screen copies a personal-record summary.

Once something is on your clipboard, what happens to it is up to you and the app you paste it into.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by the app. There is no push service and no message is sent to or from a server. You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.

Children

Ingot is intended for adults training with weights. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you delete it by deleting it:

• remove individual sets by long-pressing a logged set during a workout, or
• clear the app's storage in Android Settings → Apps → Ingot → Storage → Clear data, or
• uninstall the app.

There is nothing stored elsewhere for us to delete, and no request is needed.

Health disclaimer

Ingot is a tracking tool, not medical or coaching advice. Percentage-based training is demanding. Train within your limits and consult a qualified professional before starting a new programme or if you experience pain.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. If a future version of the app ever collects data, this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version ships.
